Description

This dramatic daylily features 3' tall, medium-green foliage with striking white striping. Variegation can range from slender lines of white to bold, nearly-white leaves, and everything in between. It's a stunning plant even when not in flower, but the flower is gorgeous, too! In July-August, 3-3 1/2' flower stems appear with 3-4" double, red-orange flowers with yellow-orange accents. Awesome combined with Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm', Yellow daylilies, or Liatris. Very hardy and easy to grow, daylilies prefer sun and will tolerate many soil types. Forms robust clumps over time. Note: as sometimes happens with variegated plants, occasional shoots will grow in solid green. To retain variegation, dig and discard any all-green side shoots when they first show in spring.
