Tomato - Bronze Torch

New in our family garden last year, this tomato was tied with 'Chocolate Sprinkles' as the season's favorite. Fruits avg. 1 1/2 oz. and are a beautiful shade of brick red with bronze stripes. Exceptional flavor, texture, and sweetness are the standouts of these large, long grape tomatoes (Juliet class) with a beautiful dark red interior. They have an average Brix score of 8.0 (higher the Brix score, the sweeter the tomato) balanced with a good level of salty acidity - not a sweet as some grape tomatoes but more intense "tomato flavor". This prolific early producer is crack-resistant and is disease resistant. Beautiful on the table or at market and a great addition to specialty mixes.
