'Lady Jane' is an improved variety of the species Tulipa clusiana, also known as the Lady Tulip. The exterior of the petals is a rosy-red edged in white, giving this variety a delightful candy cane look. On sunny days the flowers open wide to form a star with an ivory-white interior with a glowing yellow base. Flowers close up again at night and on cloudy days. Striking interplanted with blue Scilla.
