Description

An award-winning heirloom, Snowdrops are one of the earliest blooms each spring. Snowdrops bear dainty 1” hanging flowers on 5” to 8” stems. The flowers are bright white, have a dot of green at the edge of the inner petals and have glossy green recurved leaves. When grown in large masses, the combined fragrance perfumes the air. The leaves are straplike or grassy, appearing with the flowers and fading away in late spring to extend the snowdrop season even though the flowers have long gone. Best planted in clusters of ten or more in partial sunlight they are more tolerant of soil with a bit of moisture than other bulbs. They will bloom through the snow and pop back up after a storm. Snowdrops naturalize and return for years. Deer and rodent resistant. March/April 5” to 8” 10 bulbs per bag
