Description
Did you know that this Allium is native to North America? Circa 1857, Graceful Beauty, this easy-growing native opens up to 3”-wide charming orbs of delightful, sparkling, starry white delicate flowers with jewel-like, pale lavender stamens and very pale pink midveins. If you were to count, you would see that each globe is actually a cluster of up to 40 petite, shiny white to pale pink flowers whose lavender stamens create that beautiful effect.
Easy and undemanding, they most assuredly come back every year. They are at their best when they are planted in larger numbers.
Plant in full sun with rich, well-draining soil. They are rabbit, rodent and deer resistant yet adored by bees, butterflies and helpful pollinators.
