Description

This dainty, yet substantive, ethereal beauty has 4”-wide flowers with well-reflexed petals in dreamy shades of pale yellow with hints of green and pink. The white flames spreading around the base of its long, funnel-shaped, yellow-pink cup make it look like it’s about to take flight. Hybridized by renowned Dutch Cyclamineus specialist Jan de Winter, this fragrant beauty was registered in 2016. When established, bulbs will become clump-forming the longer they are in the ground. They grow best in moist, but well drained soil which is slightly acidic. ‘Carice’ is the perfect choice for naturalizing in grassland, but it looks just as ‘at home’ growing in drifts in the border, or in patio containers. It prefers to grow in dappled shade, but will do almost as well in full sun. It is deer- and rodent-resistant. April 8” to 10” 10 bulbs per bag
