Tulip - Purple Dream

A dream, indeed. The clear, deep purple with hazy blue flush blooms of this Lily-flowered tulip look like a goblet as they reflex gracefully to pointed tips. Just a touch of ivory-white appears at the base of each flower and as occasional highlights on the interior. 'Purple Dream' also shows off well in a vase. Tulips perform best when planted in full sun in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Deadhead only, allow foliage to die back naturally while next year's bloom is being developed.
