Tulip - Mary Ann

Mary Ann is a divine and playful award-winning Greigii tulip that changes color during blooming. This striking two-tone tulip with shapely petals has pinkish-white flowers with prominent cherry flames with a pink and white interior and stunning foliage. The lemon yellow base gives them a nice glow! On sunny days, Mary Ann opens wide to reveal her black, gold and red center. She is sturdy, compact in height with burgundy stripes on the blue-green foliage. The Greigii hybrids are long lasting tulips great for naturalizing that come back year after year if planted in good sunny spots. This tulip was Introduced in 1955. Tulips perform best when planted in full sun in easy-to-work, well-drained soils. Deadhead only, allow foliage to die back naturally while next year's bloom is being developed.
