Description

'Annabelle' is a smooth hydrangea cultivar which features huge, rounded, white flowers that can reach 8-12" across. It is a deciduous shrub with a rounded habit which typically grows 3-5' tall. 'Annabelle' flowers on new wood, so it's less likely to suffer late frost damage in the spring. Flowering begins in late spring and often continues until September. Blooms can be cut for fresh or dried bouquets. This hardy hydrangea is not shy to bloom like some of the macrophylla types...it's great addition to the garden. Blooms best in full sun but will tolerate light shade for part of the day.
