Description
Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) is a deciduous, vase-shaped shrub or small tree with multiple trunks. Rose of Sharon's biggest attraction is its many, lovely blooms which cover the shrub continuously from mid to late summer, at time when most other flowering shrubs are done for the season. The blooms resemble hollyhock flowers, and though they look tropical this is a hardy shrub. Very easy to grow, it prefers full sun. 8-12' tall. Attracts hummingbirds!
The flower color on these shrubs is unknown, but the most common colors are white, pink and lavender.
