NIGHT FLYERS: Moths, Bats and Owls

Brian Cassie is a dedicated naturalist, conservationist, and teacher, who has led nature tours in Costa Rica, Belize, Mexico, Venezuela, and Jamaica as well as closer to home in Maine and Massachusetts. He has worked with the Audubon Society, Butterflies Through Binoculars Tours, and is president of both the Nuttall Ornithological Club at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Butterfly Club. Cassie's expertise extends to tropical ecology, Arctic animal life, plants, seashells, birds, butterflies, and New England natural history. He is the author of a series of National Audubon First Field Guides as well as several books on butterflies. Join us for a fascinating evening!
Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 7 PM in the First Church Unitarian, Lancaster, MA unless otherwise noted.

Description: Kerry Ann Mendez, owner of Perennially Yours, is dedicated to teaching the art of low- maintenance perennial gardening and landscaping. As a garden consultant, designer, author and lecturer, she focuses on time-saving gardening techniques, workhorse plants and sustainable practices. She has been in numerous magazines including Horticulture, Fine Gardening, Garden Gate and Better Homes and Gardens' Garden Ideas & Outdoor Living. And she was awarded the 2014 Gold Medal from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society presented to outstanding horticulturalists.
